About me

I'm Catalin. I grew up in Romania and moved to Amsterdam a few years ago. I write software for a living and I genuinely enjoy it. Most of my time goes into building things, whether that's a full-stack app, an AI tool, or something I just thought would be cool to make.

I like working across the whole stack. I'm comfortable building a React frontend, writing a Python backend, setting up the infrastructure, and deploying the whole thing. Lately I've been deep into LLMs and figuring out how to use them in ways that actually help people, not just as demos.

I'm always curious about new tools, new ideas, and new ways of doing things. When I'm not coding, I'm probably thinking about my next project.
